# Userpilot MAUI SDK Release Notes

> Release history for the Userpilot MAUI mobile SDK.

## 1.3.1  – Oct 1, 2026

🚀 Overview
This release fixes an Android build failure in apps that also use okhttp, okio, or Moshi, and adds a dependency the SDK needs to display some experiences. iOS has no changes in this release.

🐛 Bug Fixes

* Fixed an Android build error, `Type okio.-Base64 is defined multiple times`, in apps that reference `Square.OkHttp3` or `Square.OkIO.JVM`. The SDK now gets okio and okhttp from NuGet instead of bundling its own copies, so both resolve to a single version.
* Fixed the same duplicate-class build error in apps that use `Square.Moshi`, directly or through Retrofit's Moshi converter.
* Declared the AndroidX ViewBinding dependency the SDK uses to display surveys and carousels. Apps no longer need to add `Xamarin.AndroidX.DataBinding.ViewBinding` themselves.

Upgrade to 1.3.1; no code changes are required. If you added a workaround for the duplicate-class error, such as `ExcludeAssets="runtime"` on `Square.OkIO.JVM` or `Square.OkHttp3`, you can remove it. Delete your `bin/` and `obj/` folders before rebuilding.

📦 Dependency Updates

* Added `Square.OkHttp3` 4.12.0.10, `Square.OkIO.JVM` 3.9.1.4, `Square.Moshi` 1.13.0, `Karamunting.Android.BigBadaboom.AndroidSvg.Aar` 1.4.0, and `Xamarin.AndroidX.DataBinding.ViewBinding` 8.5.0.1 as dependencies of the Android package. If your app pins an older version of any of these, raise it to resolve a `NU1605` package-downgrade error.
* Kept the Userpilot native SDK dependencies at iOS 1.4.0 and Android 1.4.0.

## 1.3.0  – Sep 29, 2026

🚀 Overview
This release adds persistent offline analytics and fixes screen tracking during app startup.

🐛 Bug Fixes

* Preserved the latest manual screen reported before setup completed and sent it after successful initialization, without duplicating screen Auto Capture.
* Fixed screen Auto Capture when setup completed before the app created its first window, and attached tracking to windows created later.

✨ Features

* Added persistent offline storage for identify calls, screen views, custom events, and Auto Capture events.
* Added automatic batch sending of stored events when the connection returns, including events saved before an app restart.

Offline analytics requires no additional configuration.

📦 Dependency Updates

* Upgraded the Userpilot native SDK dependencies to iOS 1.4.0 and Android 1.4.0.

## 1.2.0  – Sep 29, 2026

🚀 Overview
This release adds URL-based deep-link handling, updates the native SDKs, and fixes iOS linking. It also changes the Auto Capture privacy API and captured metadata.

⚠️ Breaking Changes

* Replaced the Android `UserpilotSdk.HandleIntent(intent)` API with `UserpilotSdk.DidHandleUrl(url)`. Pass `intent.DataString` and route the URL yourself when the method returns `false`.
* Renamed the XAML attached properties `UserpilotAutoCapture.RedactText` and `UserpilotAutoCapture.IgnoreInteractions` to `UserpilotAutoCapture.Redact` and `UserpilotAutoCapture.Ignore`. Update existing XAML references.
* Extended redaction to placeholders, accessibility metadata, view tags, and selected values, and omitted accessibility descriptions and identifiers from redacted hierarchies. Review targeting rules that depend on these fields.

* Added `UserpilotSdk.DidHandleUrl` on iOS and Android for experience previews and push-notification links, including links received before setup.

🐛 Bug Fixes

* Fixed an iOS linker error that prevented apps from building against the native binding.

📦 Dependency Updates

* Upgraded the Userpilot native SDK dependencies to iOS 1.3.0 and Android 1.3.0, including experience previews and test push notifications.

## 1.1.1  – Sep 24, 2026

🚀 Overview
This release fixes an iOS crash that occurred the first time an experience was displayed.

🐛 Bug Fixes

* Fixed a crash on iOS caused by a missing resource bundle in the published package. Upgrade to 1.1.1; no code changes are required. If you copied `Userpilot_Userpilot.bundle` into your app as a workaround, you can remove that step.

📦 Dependency Updates

* Pinned the Userpilot native SDK dependencies to iOS 1.2.3 and Android 1.2.3.
